Dude, this does NOT look like Wild Wild West. This trailer brought my hopes back up. Also, I think his face looks awesome. I don't know Rogelio, this could be good.

Games for Lisa: ilomilo
I've decided, about ten seconds ago, that I am going to start a new recurring post. Games for Lisa is underway. The sole purpose? Get Lisa playing video games. She already plays casual games on her computer. Of course they are just rip offs of board games made interactive, but nonetheless, it's a start. She had a little trouble with Flower, but I think it might just be that it was too new of a concept for her. She, of course, has never used a sixaxis controller or anything like it.
She did really get into Carcassonne for a while. We actually played that game quite a bit. Don't know why we haven't in so long. I'm sure our strategy is going to be off for a while when we finally do. Again, though, it is just a digital version of a board game. Other than the fact that the Xbox Live Arcade version does the scoring for you, I prefer the IRL version.
Anyways, the point is going to be to get Lisa to work her way up to a true gamer, whatever that means. It begins with ilomilo, a game that is coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Hopefully it won't be too much. Hope she likes it. Here's a vid of the game, and their blog.
Great music, no?

If you didn't like Fringe before...
how could you not like it now? It's no secret I love this show. Lisa and I have a Fringe date every week. There are some ridiculous story lines that make absolutely no sense medically or scientifically, but I can ignore that. This trailer for an upcoming episode makes me giddy with excitement. Oh well, back to "Cutaneous Clues to Systemic Disease."

Jonah Hex Sneak Peak Trailer
Holy crap. Yes it's an 11 second long clip and most of that is riddled with boring filler BUT... check this shit out! Also, Rogelio, I now totally agree with you. They should have made his face much more effed up.

I'll give you one guess who makes a quick appearance in the new Airbender trailer...
I get more and more excited about this film the more I see. At first, when I heard Aang speak, I was very disappointed but it doesn't bother me anymore. Just keep up the freezing of enemies and I'll be happy.

Jonah Hex Pic Surfaces
Here is a pic of Jonah Hex's face in the upcoming film. How do you guys think it compares to the comics? I think this movie is going to be sweet. Really hope that Megan Fox doesn't ruin it.

An Important Message...
...from mayoral candidate Mike Haggar.
I've been enjoying the heck out of this double impact Final Fight DLC. I'll admit I was a bit disappointed at how quickly I got through the game but Magic Sword (which I was previously unfamiliar with) has more than filled the gap. Anyway... go out and vote for Mike Haggar.

Brink: Cinematic Trailer
Hey Brosephines, I downloaded this trailer last night from the PSN (It looks amazing on an HD set) and felt compelled to share it with you guys. As the post's title says, this is a cinematic trailer for Bethesda's first foray into the world of first person multiplayer shooters. I'll confess that I have yet to play any of their single player efforts but I've heard good things. :)
I still recommend you download this free trailer on your PS3s. Looks really cool.

Red Dead Redemption FreeRoam Multiplayer
Fellas, we have GOT to get this game. How awesome would it be to roam around in a possy? We need to do this. I cannot wait for this game. The single player looks fantastic. I was already sold on this game, this extra sealed the deal. If you want to see any other vids, here is the site.

Woot! Woot! Woot!
I was lucky enough to get a random bag of crap. I was very excited to get it. All I knew for a week was that the package weighed 7.3 lbs. For those of you that don't know, a random bag o' crap is 3 bucks. What is actually in the bag is completely random. It could be a boat. I mean a boat is just a boat, but a mystery box could be anything... even a boat.

Cycling treats Parkinson's
Check out this amazing video. Apparently parkinson’s patients have temporary relief from their tremors after riding a bicycle. At one point the vid says that people will have their tremors stop for days. I’ve got to get my grandfather to try this. His disease isn’t too bad yet, but imagine him not having to deal with it.
So I can't get the dumb ABC player to embed. Here is the link instead.

Saprtacus Wins Tour of Flanders
Fabian Cancellara beat out Tom Boonen, the current Belgian Champ, sprinter and unanimous favorite, on the last climb of the ToF and kept his lead for a solo victory. The Tof, also known as De Ronde Van Vlaanderen, is a road race on cobblestones. Paris-Roubaix is undeniably the most famous and prestigious cobblestone race, but the ToF cannot be denied its difficulty with a total of 15 climbs in 262 km.
Cancellara is better known as a time trial specialist, having won many sinlge day races and taking the maillot jaune at the Tour of France during the prologue for the past two years and keeping it for a respectable amount of time. He is currently on Team Saxo Bank along with the Schleck brothers, the younger of which placed second in last years Tour de France and is a favorite for this years upcoming race.
Cancellara took the lead on the last climb of the day, known as the Muur [wall], and kept it for a solo win. “To attack on the Muur and leave Boonen behind is amazing. When I get old, to be able to say to young riders, ‘At the Ronde I attacked on the Muur, left Boonen behind and won alone,’ not in a sprint, or dropped and came back, but alone... it was the perfect scenario. The gladiator won the battle.” Although he may seem a little arrogant calling himself a gladiator, the reference is to his given nickname of Spartacus of which he happily embraces.
To watch the instant he is talking about watch the clip below right at 1:28. He destroys Boonen on the climb without even getting out of the saddle as Boonen struggles to keep up and fails. If you want some more vids, like interviews, click the jump.
