Toy Story 3

You know, I have no idea what the plot is going to be. Didn't they already bleed dry the possibilities after part 2? And for some reason I can't stop thinking about the Nuclear Fallout episode of Family Guy.

Mega Man 2.5D

As with most classic old Nintendo games I seem to recall watching them be played as opposed to playing them myself (curse of the younger sibling)... and when it comes to Mega-Man, I remember it being tough as nails. Difficulty level aside, the now 22 year old Blue Bomber hasn't lost his popularity as evidenced by the recent release of Mega Man 9 for respective DLC providers and this fan-made video:

I wish this was a real game, and then I wish this guy would get to work on a similar treatment for the AWESOME Mega Man X series.

Avatar the Last Airbender Cast List

The cast list for the major roles in the upcoming 2010 film adaptation of Avatar the Last Airbender, or The Last Aribender as it will be called, has been out for a while. After the jump you can check out pictures of the actors playing your favorite characters. Some are a little iffy, some are AWESOME.
Noah Ringer as Aang

Jackson Rathbone as Sokka

Nicola Peltz as Katara

Dev Patel as Zuko

Jessica Jade Andres as Suki

Aasif Mandvi as Admiral Zhao

Shaun Toub as Uncle Iroh

Cliff Curtis as Fire Lord Ozai

Katharine Houghton as Kanna (aka Gran Gran)

Thoughts? I can only imagine that it was M. Night Shyamalan's idea to make the Fire Nation "Indian" as opposed to the original "Japanese." I guess I'll just have to live with it, but I'm not too crazy about the director changing the source material.

...and is it me, or is Suki kind of old-looking compared to the Sokka actor?

Questions: Who will play Toph in the sequel? How is Appa gonna look? Can yuo really make airbending look cool or even realistic in live-action?

Mash-Up Time!

Adrian beat me to the Green Lantern fan-made trailer but I got another one for you guys anyway. This one is called Transforminators:

Some golden oldies after the jump!

Nathan Fillion as The Green Lantern

I can't say that I have a good feel for the Green Lantern, as I never read the comics. Having said that, I think he kicks ass in this fan made trailer.

If Looks Could Kill...

New shot of Zuko, this time with a better look at the scar detail.

What do you guys think? Personally, I was hoping for a bigger scar. Don't get me wrong... I dont want him to look like this, but just a little more like this.

Dig the outfit though!

Here you go Efren. Yes Aang is super white, but hey, Dev Patel looks good as Zuko, no? Hopefully this movie will kick as much ass as the toon.

This cockatiel is amazing. I've posted the video after the jump in case you wanna try and NOT look at the title of the embedded video... cause the title gives it away. If you need me I'll be feeding my new addition some Gysahl Greens. (Yes thats a clue!)

Adrian's Summer Job!

Perpetually resourceful Adrian has engineered this hybrid bike to aid him in his new job: super fast courier! Way to go Adrian, you're the coolest! When you absolutely gotta have your groceries NOW.

Also! A badass extended cut of the previously posted Uncharted 2 video after the jump.

Seriously... this game looks amazing. Its almost worth it to go to gametrailers and watch this in HD.

First Look: Uncharted 2

I love Gametrailers. I love the original Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Put these together, add a dash of sequel and you get this! (hint: its a sneak peek at the single player campaign for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves)

I can not WAIT for this game. The first one was a blast to play and this one looks to leave its predecessor in the dust.
Things I liked about the trailer: the homerun slide into some cover, the improved detail (and graphics), and the familiar sound effect for when Nathan picks up some ammo. Caaaaan't waaaaaait!! By the way, gimme back my copy ZombIto!

Uhh... what?

Who the heck is Dr. Quantum? Does a scientist have to be dressed as a superhero to keep a kids attention? Is this part of a show like Bill Nye the Science Guy or something? Enough questions! On to the clip... which will probably lead to more questions. Dr. Quantum (Einstein-esque superhero) presents the Double Slit Experiment.

I don't buy the last part of this "experiment." There has to be some other explanation than the one given.

You on the Wong Corner.

Never heard of this guy... but he's funny. The clip speaks for itself but Ill post some "Joke information" that was included on the YouTube page.

Joke information -

Benjamin Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States of America, and also appears on the $100 bill. Stores are robbed for money or $100 bills.

The 2nd Amendment gives citizens the right to bear arms (own guns). Stores are usually robbed with guns.

Roe v. Wade is a famous US court case regarding abortion rights. Two ways to get to America is to "row" a boat, or "wade" (swim).

D-9, The Aliens are here and they look like Roaches

I've been following this project from Peter Jackson for a while. It is a twist on the alien theme that we haven't seen. Or at least done well and in our generation. This looks like it is going to be a phenomenal movie. Definitely has some more provocative themes running under the surface than just another alien flick. Seeing as how its set in South Africa, near Johannesburg, it is difficult not to think of apartheid. Hopefully this will deliver.
I haven't posted on it because I haven't been able to find en embeddable video. So I found this clip instead that gives you an idea what the movie will be like, and here are some links to other vids. D-9 website, and a new trailer. I really hope you click the links, totally worth it.

Grand Theft Equine

One of my all-time favorite PS2 games is Activision's sand box western, GUN. To my knowledge no game has come close to replicating its fun "grand theft auto" style gameplay... until now. The debut trailer for Red Dead Redemption (sequel to Red Dead Revolver) is up and it looks awesome. See for yourself!

This seems more appealing to me than fps Call of Juarez... but truth be told, any game that puts me in the boots of a cowboy and set me loose in the Old West is a game I want to play (extra points if I get to ride a horse)!

Bad Robot to adapt The Dark Tower!!

Not sure how this AWESOME bit of information passed me by, I blame Aintitcool for not reporting on it! J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof, who own the rights to Stephen King's magnum opus The Dark Tower, have just stated that they would love to concentrate on the 7 book series just as soon as they're done with LOST... which only has one season left! Click here for the full scoop! Then go out and buy the series (the original books not the Marvel Comics adaptation). Some kickass Roland art after the jump!

These illustrations are all from the Marvel Comics adaptation of the Dark Tower series.
First up: Our lone hero, The Gunslinger.
Next: A group shot of Roland Deschain (aka Roland of Gilead) and the rest of his "class" before receiving their Guns.
Last: A sad pic of Roland clutching his crispy (dead) girlfriend. She should of known that wherever Roland goes... DEATH FOLLOWS!!

Can't effin' wait!

Ode to the Cheddar Baked Biscuit.

The following is a poem dedicated to those delicious Pre-Meal delicacies known only as Cheddar Baked Biscuits which you get at Red Lobster. (The idea for this poem was inspired by the babiest of dolls.)

"Cheddar Baked Biscuits, how I love thee...

When I taste you, you are so salty,
When I bite into you, you are so flaky,
But most importantly you are also cheesy.

Cheddar baked biscuits, it is undeniable...
The pleasure you give is consistently reliable.

Cheddar baked biscuits, you are so edible...
My girlfriend thinks you are truly incredible.

Cheddar baked biscuits, there is but one thing I implore:
'Help me get my waiters attention, so I can order more.'"

Bootleg Sessions v. 3

So I haven't posted a track bike trick vid in a while. That's because they mostly have sucked recently. Here is a pretty sweet one from the fellas at Bootleg sessions. I get a little annoyed how much importance people put to branding. Then again, I guess I kind of get caught up in it too. I own things or frequent the companies mentioned quite often. Enjoy.

Bicis in Firenze!

Dr. Belzerino recently had a fantastic trip to Italy. While there she realized that she could never go with me (I beg to differ) because of all the bicycles. After you start getting into cycling you cannot help but be attracted by passing bikes. You want to see their setup, compare it to yours, get new ideas, drool over other bikes, etc. Well apparently there were a lot of bikes in Italy (duh). She decided to take pics as proof. Here they are. There is also one pic from Rome which makes me kind of jealous. Not because of their setup, I figure that community bikes would get a bit grimy after a year or so. I would love to have their infrastructure, easy riding in the city...

Wouldn't it be nice to have this in Dallas? And yes this totally applies to both pics above and below.

Get a load of this Pachyderm.

Ever since this post, Ive felt elephants weren't getting a fare shake on TripleChimp. This next video, which is for Elephant and Art lovers alike, will hopefully give our thick-skinned friends their proper place on the site.

The full description from the YouTube page is after the jump.

Watch this elephant paint a beautiful image of an elephant holding a flower.
You'll be amazed at how her talent unfolds as she carefully completes each
stroke. Her mahout talks to her throughout the process as his gentle touch gives
her confidence. She focuses on her work and seems to enjoy the approval of the
audience and, of course, the sugar cane and banana treats. All of her training
has been reward based.

So touched by their horrific backgrounds and
loving personalities, ExoticWorldGifts.com now supports, "Starving Elephant
Artisans" by selling their paintings so they can continue to have a new life in
Thailand. Own a print of the art for $35.

Some Thai elephant experts
believe that the survival of the Asian elephant species will most likely depend
on the good treatment of the elephants in well managed privately owned elephant
camps. All of us would prefer that all of the elephants be free to be in the
wild. For many reasons, that is not possible at this time.

You can learn
more and purchase these unique paintings at www.ExoticWorldGifts.com
