Efren posted recently on the upcoming game A Boy and His Blob. I thought the art direction looked great. Here it is in motion. Second vid after the jump.
A few impressions: 1. This game looks awesome. 2. Were there hints as to what to turn your blob into in the original? How much harder were games before Gamefaqs and Nintendo Power etc...? 3. It seems that you cant have as many jelly bean flavors at one time. 4. Lastly, and I hate to say it, but this should be a downloadable game not a regular game.
Wow, good point about it being downloadable game. Who knows, you may be right. But don't let the animation fool ya. As for the jelly beans, I think that the boy just hadn't picked up the other types yet. You are right about the game telling you what the jelly beans do though. Before you had to memorize it. Although, I did always think that it was pretty dumb that you had to.
Games weren't harder, we almost always had Nintendo Power. Even still, the only times I use GameFaqs is when I want to completely complete a game, not to beat it or for help on my first time through.
