Yamaguchi Yamaguchi
I finally got her back, and she is beautiful. My very own Yamaguchi. I got some Crane Creek Volos wrapped in some Continental Sprinter tubulars. Lucky enough to get some Dura Ace cranks and bb to go along with my Dura Ace headset and cogs. Izumi track chain and FSA chainring in the front with a Thomson seat post and Selle Italia saddle. Took my Keo carbons off my Cervelo... got to get some new pedals. The Superdrome in Frisco should be opening up by the end of the month. I cannot wait!!! Check more pics after the post.

Third Bike?
So... I couldn't help myself. Just got a sweet deal on a Yamaguchi Track Frameset with a Dura Ace headset. Tommy at West Village Bicycles threw in a custom Yamaguchi stem, and Nitto track handlebars wrapped with Brooks leather tape. Unfortunately he also had full Dura Ace componentry on it, not to mention an expensive wheel set. So I essentially got about 800 bones off a sweet ride, but I have no wheels, bottom bracket, or chain ring. Why was it so cheap? It's used. Though, other than some scratches in the paint on the top tube it is essentially mint. I can't wait to pick it up. It also ended up costing me the rest of my summer money. Oh well, it is totally worth it. If I end up not being able to afford it I could always sell it on eBay for a profit. I have a feeling it would sell very well judging on the selling prices of framesets nowhere near as nice as this one. Such a pretty bike. I'll take pictures of it when I get it. Here are some pics from Yamaguchi's website.

Yamaguchi has a cool history. He was a famed frame builder working for 3Rensho in Japan. He then came to the states and started his own company. He made custom frames for the US National Track team in his heyday. Here is a cheesy looking US version.

Update: This bike on West Village Bike's website, this very one, is mine. All MINE, bwahahahahaa.
