This Just In: Devo not chosen for new Castlevania BGM
This trailer really is getting me excited for a new Castlevania game. To be honest, I never thought that the whip was any fun after the last 2D game. It just seemed clumsy. Thats part of the reason that I liked Symphony of the Night so much. On the other hand, the fighting mechanics seems almost God of War-like. Definitely a good thing to copy. I guess we'll find out later. Some screen grabs after the jump.

Im more intrigued by the fact that Hideo Kojima is taking the reigns as producer and leaving poor Koji Igarashi,creator of the series, out of the loop.
The game looks great, the trailer kicks ass (I especially appreciate the fine voice acting), but at the end of the day why not just play God of War or Devil May Cry?
This Gabriel character better be an effin' Belmont!
