So Belzerino took me out last night. Her boss procured some tickets for us to see Pilobolus at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth. I have to say, it was pretty amazing. You might have seen this troupe in commercials or performing on The Conan O'Brien show. Actually only one of their acts involved shadows. It was a god breathes life that eventually turns into humans act. Hard to explain, very spiritual. It actually made me think of Ang going avatar state at one point. Before they turned human they had this amoeba thing bit where one was swallowing the other, one of my favorite parts. All in all a great show. These guys also performed at a recent Oscar's ceremony. I think they did one shadow bit for each of the nominees for best motion picture. Pretty cool stuff.
Doh, they did. I had found a lot of the vids last night. Unfortunately Lady Belzer decided to close my tabs when she was done viewing them. I forgot to find that one again. I'll add it now.
